A Moved Night
Horatio was arriving home at 2:05, that was no a good time to get back home, so he opened the door softly and got into the house. His parents were asleep and his dog Burt, was asleep too, so he went up stairs carefully, listening to every little sound made for the wood steps, fortunately his parents did not wake up.
He reached the second floor, and went into his room, but he thought was better went to the bathroom first, he walked to left slowly, he listened to his father coughing.
He looked in the mirror and realized about his bad face, this would be the last party night in his life, despite the fact that he was not drunk, he felt a little bit dizzy, even when he walked… “maybe is time to go bed”- he thought.
Horatio closed the bathroom’s door and walked to his room, he felt more and more dizzy, finally he reached his room and opened the door and entered to his room then he sat in his bed and took off his sneakers, he changed his socks, after that he looked at the clock on the wall. The time was 2:17, “definitely is time to sleep”- he wondered.
A few minutes later, Horatio was lying on his bed, without undressing and deepy asleep, he was dreaming. It was a strange dream… he was walking on the street, and suddenly an earthquake began… It was a complete disaster, the cars hit themselves and the people ran everywhere, the buildings fell off and the earth was moving strongly… he was trapped in a no-end street and a lot of people was running into him,… then, he was on his bed, “It was just a dream, nothing more than a dream”- he tought… he looked at the clock on the wall the time was 3:28 … -“I need to go to the bathroom”- said Horatio.
He reached the bathroom’s door and put one hand on the doorknob, he listened to a weird sound, it was like if the earth were buzzing, he thought that the sound had been produced by his cellphone, but not, then the sound started to go up, more and more, -“It’s a tremor!”- he shouted. But Horatio was wrong, It was not a little tremor, in a second the house was strongly moving, the pictures on the wall fell off the floor, the furniture were hitting themselves, everything was falling off. Horatio was on the floor too, he was praying for his life and for his family, then, over the horrible sound of the earthquake, he listened to his father’s voice coming from the bedroom. His father was asking for him. -“I’m fine, I’m fine!”- he cried.
“Stop it please, c’mon, stop it now!”- Horatio was praying, and then suddenly, the earthquake stopped. He stood on his knees for a while, after that, he ran towards his bedroom and took his lantern. He turned it on and walk silently to the living room. There were his parents with a lantern too. The living room was a complete disaster, two chairs were knocked down and a table too, the shelves were empty: all the things had fallen off of them.
“Well”- said Horatio’s father. -“May we calm down?”-, “I will find a good place to sleep away to the first floor, Horatio, you will sleep on the sofa, I will go for a mattress, this night we will sleep all together”
Some hours later Horatio was trying to sleep on the sofa. “Definitely, this is a moved night”- he thought.

About me, about my country.
My name is Rikardo Quezada Sáez and I am 21 years old. I was born in Chile, in a lovely region called Del Maule. Land of good wines, beautiful mountains, long valleys and a nice blue sky without pollution, even the air which we breath is a gift of the gods! As I told you I was born in Chile, in a little town called Molina, near Curicó. Molina is just a wonderful place, if I have to describe Molina with one word could be: REMARCABLE.
